A unique Chinese kung fu school has emerged in Shanghai, where the classrooms echo with the blending of cultures. At its helm is Kleber Battaglia, an Italian martial artist whose passion for kung fu led him across continents to realize a lifelong dream.
Since arriving in the Chinese mainland in 2009, Battaglia has dedicated himself to mastering and teaching traditional kung fu. His school attracts students not only from China but from all over the world, united by a shared enthusiasm for martial arts.
“As a child, I was captivated by the stories and philosophies behind kung fu,” Battaglia recalls. “Coming to Shanghai and opening my own school was a dream come true.”
Under Battaglia’s guidance, students learn not just the physical techniques but also the cultural and philosophical aspects of kung fu. His approach emphasizes discipline, respect, and intercultural understanding.
