Confucian Culture Shines at New Exhibition in Shandong Province

Qufu, Shandong Province — A special exhibition celebrating Confucian culture has opened its doors at the Confucius Museum in Qufu, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the life and teachings of one of China’s most influential philosophers.

The exhibition, themed “When the Great Way Prevails,” features more than 140 pieces of precious cultural relics. Jointly organized with the Palace Museum, it aims to showcase the deep cultural significance of Confucianism and its impact on Chinese civilization.

The opening coincides with the Eleventh Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, which kicked off on Wednesday. The forum brings together scholars and experts from around the world to discuss the role of ancient wisdom in modern society.

“We hope young people can connect with Confucius’s teachings and find relevance in today’s world,” said Li Ming, curator of the Confucius Museum. “The values of respect, harmony, and education remain important across cultures.”

Interactive displays and multimedia installations make the exhibition engaging for all ages. Highlights include ancient manuscripts, traditional clothing, and artifacts that illustrate Confucius’s philosophy.

The exhibition is open to the public and will run through the end of the month.
