Shenzhou-18 Astronauts Return to Earth After Six-Month Space Mission

The crew of China’s Shenzhou-18 spacecraft has returned safely to Earth after a successful six-month mission aboard the Tiangong space station. Astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu touched down at the Dongfeng Landing Site in Inner Mongolia on November 1.

The trio was welcomed back by ground teams following a handover ceremony with the incoming Shenzhou-19 crew. During their time in orbit, the astronauts conducted a series of scientific experiments, contributing to advancements in space research and technology.

“We’re thrilled to be back home after a productive mission,” said mission commander Ye Guangfu. “Our work aboard Tiangong has paved the way for future explorations.”

The Shenzhou-18 mission marks another milestone in China’s rapidly expanding space program, inspiring young minds and fueling interest in science and technology across the globe.
