China Airlifts Emergency Aid to Earthquake-Stricken Vanuatu

China has sent a significant batch of emergency aid to Vanuatu following a devastating earthquake that hit the Pacific island nation. A chartered flight departed from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, carrying approximately 35 tons and 235 cubic meters of relief supplies directly to Port Vila, Vanuatu’s capital.

The shipment includes essential items such as tents, folding beds, water purification equipment, solar lamps, emergency food, and medical supplies. These resources aim to bolster Vanuatu’s disaster response efforts and provide immediate assistance to those affected by the quake.

This swift action highlights the solidarity between China and Vanuatu, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in times of crisis.
