Israel and Hamas Conduct Sixth Prisoner Exchange Under Gaza Ceasefire

Israel confirmed on Friday that it has received a list of three hostages set to be released on Saturday from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Israeli army radio reported that 369 Palestinian prisoners will be released.

This exchange marks the sixth batch of prisoner-for-hostage swaps between Israel and Hamas as part of the initial phase under the ceasefire agreement that took effect on January 19.

The ongoing exchanges are seen as a positive step toward easing tensions in the region. Families on both sides are anxiously awaiting the return of their loved ones, hoping that these actions pave the way for lasting peace.
