Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery has opened the doors of its Longshan Test Center’s core laboratories to the public for the first time. The event showcased the company’s groundbreaking fifth-generation hybrid engine technology, demonstrating its exceptional performance under extreme conditions.
Visitors witnessed the hybrid system enduring rigorous simulations ranging from frigid temperatures of minus 40 degrees Celsius to scorching heats of 60 degrees Celsius. These tests highlight the stability and reliability of Chery’s hybrid technology, ensuring optimal performance regardless of environmental challenges.
Yin Tongyue, chairman of Chery Holding Group, personally introduced the advanced engine, emphasizing its industry-leading thermal efficiency. The innovative Clear Drive Management system enables seamless coordination between the electric motor and the engine, optimizing power delivery and fuel efficiency.
During the event, Chery unveiled its ambitious “China Hybrid Intelligent Leading the World” strategy alongside an open-source initiative.
