At the heart of south China’s Hainan Province, two panda brothers, Gong Gong and Shun Shun, are making a name for themselves. For nearly seven years, these adorable giant pandas have called the Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden their home, charming visitors with their playful antics and endearing personalities.
A New Home in Paradise

The brothers start their day with a hearty breakfast of fresh bamboo, munching contentedly as they bask in the morning sun. “We strive to replicate their natural habitat as much as possible,” says one of the dedicated zookeepers. “It’s important for Gong Gong and Shun Shun to engage in behaviors they would exhibit in the wild.”
