As graduation season approaches, young people from the Chinese mainland and the United States are confronting big questions about their future. In an open cross-cultural dialogue, students from both countries shared their perspectives on understanding, connection, and the responsibilities that come with entering the global stage.
Three guests from the University of Tulsa came together to candidly explore how the next generation is navigating a fast-changing world, focusing on the importance of cross-cultural communication and shared values.
“It’s about finding common ground while respecting our differences,” one student remarked. “We are more connected than ever, and that brings both opportunities and challenges.”
The conversation touched on how young people are embracing their roles in shaping the future. From addressing global issues like climate change to fostering mutual understanding across cultures, these graduates are ready to make their mark.
“Our generation is eager to collaborate and make positive changes,” another participant added. “We recognize the responsibility we have to each other and to the world.”
The dialogue underscored the importance of youth voices in international conversations, highlighting how young minds are poised to lead with empathy and innovation.
