The energy transfer event of the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games kicked off on July 15 in Beijing, bringing together cutting-edge humanoid robots from around the globe. Co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, China Media Group, and other institutions, the event took place at the historic Badaling section of the Great Wall.
As a key segment of the world’s first comprehensive event featuring humanoid robots as the main participants, the event unveiled the Games’ official slogan and medals. Robot teams carried unique “Energy Cubes” to visit iconic landmarks, including Beijing’s dual-Olympic legacies and World Heritage sites.
The journey culminated at the National Speed Skating Oval, where the robots assembled to form a “Smart Core.” This core will be illuminated at the opening ceremony of the Games on August 14, symbolizing unity and technological advancement.
