Manchester City Draw Juventus in FIFA Club World Cup Group Stage

Premier League champions Manchester City are set to face Italian giants Juventus in the group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. The draw, announced on Thursday, places City in Group G alongside Wydad AC and Al Ain.

The tournament, featuring 32 top teams from around the globe, will be held from June 15 to July 13, 2025, across 12 stadiums. Serving as a prelude to the 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, the event promises thrilling encounters for football fans worldwide.

Manchester City, who secured the most recent Club World Cup title in 2023 under the old format, will kick off their campaign against Wydad AC, followed by a match against Al Ain. They will conclude the group stage with a highly anticipated showdown against Juventus.

In other notable matchups, Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will compete in Group A against Al Ahly, Porto, and Palmeiras. European champions Real Madrid have been drawn in Group H with Al Hilal, Pachuca, and Red Bull Salzburg.

The tournament also features Bayern Munich in Group C alongside Auckland City, Boca Juniors, and Benfica. Inter Milan will battle it out in Group E with River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds, and Monterrey, while Paris Saint-Germain faces off in Group B with Atletico Madrid, Botafogo, and Seattle Sounders.
