Davos 2025: Global Leaders to Collaborate for the Intelligent Age
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is gearing up for its Annual Meeting 2025, set to take place from January 20 to 24 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. Under the theme “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age“, the event will bring together around 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries, including 350 governmental representatives and 60 heads of state and government.
This high-profile gathering aims to address some of the most pressing global challenges while exploring opportunities emerging in the rapidly evolving technological landscape. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the WEF, emphasized the importance of cooperation in these uncertain times.
“Despite divergent positions and great uncertainties, the Annual Meeting 2025 will foster a spirit of cooperation and constructive optimism with the objective of shaping the forthcoming Intelligent Age in a more sustainable and inclusive way,” Schwab stated.
A Focus on Sustainability and Inclusion
The agenda for Davos 2025 will concentrate on relaunching economic growth, harnessing new technologies, and strengthening social and economic resilience. These discussions come at a critical time marked by geopolitical tensions and accelerating climate change. For the first time, over 220 sessions will be livestreamed, allowing people worldwide to participate virtually and access these vital conversations.
