In a significant move to strengthen bilateral ties, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng attended the inauguration ceremony of U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday in Washington, D.C.
During his visit, Han met with U.S. Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, prominent business figures including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and John Thornton, Chair Emeritus of the U.S. Brookings Institution.
In his meeting with Vance, Han conveyed President Xi Jinping’s warm greetings to President Trump and extended congratulations on Vance’s election.
