An immigrant rights organization is sounding the alarm over the potential long-term impacts of mass deportations in the United States. Alliance San Diego warns that the fear of deportation is pushing undocumented individuals further into the shadows, leading to widespread job loss and economic instability.

With lower-income communities already vulnerable, advocates are concerned that this could result in mass starvation and deeper marginalization. The organization’s spokesperson emphasized that the current climate is forcing many to avoid seeking assistance or accessing essential services, exacerbating their hardships.

“When people are afraid to come forward, they lose jobs, they can’t feed their families, and entire communities suffer,” the spokesperson said. “We need policies that protect human rights and allow everyone to live with dignity.”

The call to action highlights the urgent need for compassionate immigration reforms that address the root causes of fear and provide support for those at risk.
