Kyiv, Ukraine — President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s approval rating has reached new heights as Ukrainians rally behind their leader amid ongoing tensions with Russia, according to a recent poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
The poll revealed that 67 percent of respondents trust Zelenskyy, a significant rise from previous months. His disapproval rating fell to 27 percent, indicating a strong surge in public support as the country faces challenges on multiple fronts.
Anton Hrushetskyi, KIIS’s executive director, said the poll reflects a nation uniting in the face of adversity. “Ukrainians perceive the current challenges as a collective struggle, and they are standing firmly behind President Zelenskyy,” he stated.
The survey, conducted between September 14 and October 4, comes at a crucial time as Ukraine continues to navigate the complexities of the conflict with Russia and seeks support from international allies.
Zelenskyy’s leadership during this period has been under intense scrutiny, but the latest figures suggest that his approach is resonating with the populace, especially the youth who are actively engaged in the nation’s future.
