Ticket Sales for 2026 Winter Olympic Games Begin

Ticket Sales Kick Off for Italy’s 2026 Winter Olympics

Excitement is building as ticket sales for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy have officially begun. Starting Tuesday, sports fans around the world can secure their seats for the global event set to take place in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo in February 2026.

Organizers have announced that tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis through the official website. An early bird promotion offers discounted prices for selected sessions until May 6, providing an incentive for fans to book their spots early.

During the initial pre-sale phases, over 660,000 tickets were sold, reflecting significant interest from both domestic and international buyers. Fans from Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France have been particularly active, with the 25 to 34 age group leading the purchases.

Each buyer can purchase up to 25 digital tickets, which are personalized and require the ticket holder’s name. Name changes will be permitted free of charge starting in December through the official ticketing app. Children aged three and under may attend for free if seated on a guardian’s lap.

The organizers emphasize that tickets and hospitality packages should only be purchased through official channels to avoid any risk of counterfeit or invalid tickets. Visa is the official payment method for the ticket sales.

The 2026 Winter Olympics will feature 16 days of competitions across 116 events. Venues include Milan, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Bormio, Livigno, and the historic Arena di Verona, which will host the closing ceremony. The Paralympic Games will follow, with nine days of events and 79 medal titles, expecting participation from over 600 athletes.

With the countdown officially underway, the 2026 Winter Olympics promise to bring thrilling competitions and unforgettable moments. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early and be part of this historic event in the heart of Italy.
