World Expo 2025 Launches in Osaka, Celebrating Future Society

The World Expo 2025 opened its doors on Saturday in Yumeshima, an artificial island in Osaka, Japan. Under the theme “Designing Future Society of Our Lives,” the expo runs from April 13 to October 13, 2025, offering a glimpse into innovations shaping our future.

An estimated 158 countries and regions, along with seven international organizations, are participating in this global event. The venue is divided into three zones, each representing a sub-theme: saving lives, empowering lives, and connecting lives. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, and initiatives promoting cross-cultural understanding.

A highlight of the expo is the signature ring-shaped structure named “The Grand Roof,” which symbolizes unity in diversity. This architectural marvel embodies the expo’s commitment to bringing together diverse perspectives to build a better future.

As the world navigates the challenges of the 21st century, World Expo 2025 provides a platform for youth and leaders alike to collaborate on designing a society that enhances and enriches lives globally.
