In an exciting showdown at the ISSF World Cup in Lima, Peru, China’s Wang Zifei and Song Buhan clinched the bronze medal in the 10-meter air rifle mixed team event on Sunday. The duo showcased exceptional skill, defeating fellow Chinese shooters Du Yuchen and Fang Shengjian with a decisive score of 16-4.
The competition was fierce, with both Chinese pairs demonstrating top-tier performance to reach the final stages. In the end, Wang and Song’s precision and teamwork earned them a spot on the podium.
The gold medal was claimed by Norway’s Jeanette Hegg Duestad and Jon-Hermann Hegg, who overcame India’s Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil and Arya Borse in a close 17-11 finish.
In other events, William Hinton from the United States secured the men’s trap final title, outperforming Italy’s Mauro De Filippis and Croatia’s Giovanni Cernogoraz. The women’s trap gold went to Adriana Ruano of Guatemala, with Silvana Stanco of Italy taking silver and Spain’s Mar Molne Magrina earning bronze.
