Israeli forces conducted an airstrike on Sunday, hitting a building in the Hadath area of Beirut’s southern suburbs. The target was a facility associated with Hezbollah, suspected of storing precision missiles.
Before the strike, Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent evacuation warning on social media to residents in the vicinity, especially those in the Hadath district.
“Anyone located within the building marked in red on the attached map, as well as those in nearby buildings, should be aware that you are in close proximity to Hezbollah facilities,” Adraee stated. “For your safety and the safety of your families, you are urged to immediately evacuate these buildings and move at least 300 meters away, as indicated on the map.”
No casualties have been reported following the airstrike.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement confirming the strike targeted a Hezbollah site storing precision missiles.
