Geneva, October 25, 2023 — Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating it will respond decisively if the U.S. becomes directly involved in Israel’s military operations. Ali Bahreini, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, told reporters on Wednesday that Tehran views Washington as complicit in Israel’s actions.
“We will not hesitate to defend our people, security, and sovereignty,” Bahreini declared. “Any direct involvement by the United States will be met with a serious and strong response.”
