Ronaldo Declares al Nassr Forever After Signing Two year Extension

Cristiano Ronaldo Extends Al Nassr Contract Until 2027: ‘Let’s Make History Together’

Cristiano Ronaldo has put an end to speculation about his future by signing a two-year contract extension with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on Thursday. With the words, “Al Nassr forever,” the Portuguese superstar reaffirmed his commitment to the team that has become his home since his shocking move from Manchester United at the end of 2022.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s new deal means he’ll be playing until at least the age of 42, giving him more time to add to his record-breaking career. “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together,” Ronaldo shared on social media, alongside a photo of himself holding a jersey emblazoned with “Ronaldo 2027.”

Ronaldo’s initial move to Al Nassr was one of the most surprising transfers in football history, reportedly worth up to $200 million a year. His presence in the Saudi Pro League has attracted other top players like Neymar and Karim Benzema to the Middle Eastern kingdom.

Earlier uncertainties arose when Ronaldo hinted that his “chapter is over” at the end of the last season. However, this new contract squashes any rumors, showing his dedication to achieving more with Al Nassr.

Playing in a less-challenging league hasn’t hindered his international career. Ronaldo remains a crucial part of the Portuguese national team. The legendary forward has lifted 28 major trophies for club and country and is the all-time leading scorer in the UEFA Champions League with 141 goals.

The FIFA World Cup is the only major accolade missing from his résumé, and this extension keeps alive his dream of possibly competing in the next tournament in 2026, set to be hosted by Canada, the USA, and Mexico.

Despite scoring 77 goals in 74 league appearances, Ronaldo has found trophies hard to come by at Al Nassr, with the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup being their only honor so far. With more time on his contract, he’s aiming to lead the team to a Saudi Pro League title.

As Ronaldo embarks on this new chapter, fans worldwide are eager to see what history he’ll write next. One thing is certain: the legend of “CR7” continues to grow.
