China’s renowned fighting game champion, Zeng Zhuojun, better known as “Xiao Hai,” is set on leaving an indelible mark at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With a legacy already studded with world titles in games like Street Fighter and King of Fighters, Xiao Hai is now channeling his skills into a fresh challenge: Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

The iconic Fatal Fury series, celebrating its first new entry in 26 years, has officially returned to competitive play. Xiao Hai, representing Kuaishou Gaming, has showcased a dominant performance in the group stages, impressing fans with his precise execution, keen strategy, and unwavering composure.

“It’s not just about winning,” Xiao Hai shared. “It’s about evolving with the game, mastering every system, and proving that I still belong at the top.”

The Esports World Cup brings together sixteen of the globe’s top players, all vying for a share of the massive $1 million prize pool. Competitors are split into four groups, battling through a double-elimination, best-of-three format. The top two from each group will advance to a high-stakes, best-of-five, single-elimination playoff bracket.

The intense competition unfolds from July 10 to 12 at the Amazon Esports Arena. As the world’s eyes turn to Riyadh, Xiao Hai stands poised to not only add another title to his name but also to solidify his standing as a legend in the fighting game community.
