Dhaka, Bangladesh—A tragic plane crash on Monday claimed the lives of at least 19 people when a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft plunged into the Milestone School and College campus in the Uttara area of Dhaka.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos and devastation as the aircraft descended onto the bustling campus during school hours. “There was a deafening noise, and suddenly everything was engulfed in smoke and flames,” recounted a survivor from the college.
Emergency services rushed to the site, battling flames and rescuing those trapped in the debris.
