The poll, which gathered responses from over 55,000 individuals across both developed and developing nations, highlights growing support for China’s efforts to foster a more harmonious international community.
Key diplomatic initiatives, such as mediating the restoration of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran and facilitating reconciliation among Palestinian factions, showcase China’s active role in global peace efforts. Additionally, China’s support for the expansion of the BRICS mechanism and backing the African Union’s membership in the G20 demonstrate its commitment to inclusive global development.
An impressive 82.5% of respondents believe that China’s concept of building a “community with a shared future for mankind” provides lasting momentum towards a better future for humanity. Over 84% agree with the core ideas of the Global Development Initiative, emphasizing development as the key to solving global issues and achieving happiness.
The survey also reveals that about 85% see security as essential for development, urging nations to collaborate on creating a balanced and sustainable security framework. Furthermore, 83.5% appreciate China’s independent foreign policy of peace, and 87% acknowledge the significant increase in China’s international influence.
With 65.3% noting China’s active participation in global governance and 58.9% affirming its efforts in resolving geopolitical conflicts, it’s clear that China’s diplomatic strategies resonate with people worldwide. A notable 73.9% support their own countries engaging in international cooperation projects initiated by China.
