Experts Call for U.S. and China to Seek Middle Ground in Trade Disputes

As speculation rises over the future of U.S.-China relations, discussions about trade tensions have intensified. Nabil S. Mikhail, a former adjunct faculty member at George Washington University, shared his insights on the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Mikhail, originally from Egypt and residing in the United States since 1986, emphasized the importance of both nations finding common ground. He warned that ongoing strife is detrimental to both countries, stating that “competition should be contained.”

“There are common concerns that could bind the two nations together,” Mikhail said. “They can work together toward the welfare of humanity.”

With global economies interconnected, experts like Mikhail advocate for collaborative efforts to resolve trade disputes, highlighting the benefits not just for the U.S. and China but for the world at large.
