Tensions have escalated sharply between Israel and Hezbollah along the Lebanese border in recent days. According to official data released by Lebanon, more than 100,000 people have been displaced by Israeli strikes.
Bahaa Hallal, a former brigadier general in the Lebanese Army, shared his views on the conflict. He stated that the Israeli attacks on Lebanon have multiple objectives. “The primary goal is to terrorize citizens in order to induce what is known as psychological and cognitive collapse,” Hallal explained.
He also appealed to the international community to assist the people of Gaza and Lebanon amid large-scale civilian casualties resulting from the ongoing Israeli attacks.
