“As we approach the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return, it’s important to recognize how far we’ve come,” said Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng during his address. “We are committed to building on our successes and continuing to contribute to the nation’s growth.”

The celebrations also featured traditional performances showcasing Macao’s rich blend of Chinese and Portuguese heritage. Young people participated actively, expressing pride in their city’s accomplishments and optimism for the future.

The early commencement of the anniversary festivities highlights Macao’s unique role as a bridge between cultures and its contributions to the development of the Greater Bay Area.
