A passenger jet carrying 67 people crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, killing 38 people, according to Kazakh authorities. Twenty-nine survivors were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The plane’s black box was found near Aktau, the Azerbaijan state news agency AZERTAC reported. Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unclear at this time.
