Yabuli Gears Up for Asian Winter Games with Successful Test Events
The Yabuli Sports Training Base is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to host cross-country skiing events for the upcoming Asian Winter Games in February. Recently, the facility held a two-day simulated competition where 28 athletes tested their skills on two challenging routes of 1.3 and 2.5 kilometers.
These test events weren’t just about the athletes; they served as a comprehensive drill for everyone involved. Technical staff, medical teams, umpires, and media operations personnel all got the chance to fine-tune their preparations and ensure that everything runs smoothly when the Games kick off.
“Our goal is to meet the highest standards of international competitions,” organizers stated. With experts who have experience from the successful 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics on board, confidence is high that Yabuli will provide a top-notch experience for competitors and spectators alike.
Out of 64 events across six sports at the Asian Winter Games, Yabuli will proudly host 32 snow events. Located just 190 kilometers from the host city of Harbin, Yabuli is set to become a hotspot for winter sports enthusiasts from around the continent.
