Following a recent trip to the U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, U.S. Senators have harshly criticized the Trump administration’s migrant mission. The delegation condemned the operation as a significant waste of taxpayers’ money and an improper use of military resources, describing it as a “misguided mission that must immediately cease.”
The Guantanamo military facility is considered the largest and most costly of its kind in the world.
