Beijing is buzzing with innovation as the 27th China Beijing International High-tech Expo kicked off on Thursday. Over 800 technology companies and institutions from around the world have gathered to showcase more than 1,200 cutting-edge innovations.
Under the theme “Science and Technology for a Better Future,” the four-day expo spans 50,000 square meters, highlighting breakthroughs in information technology, intelligent manufacturing, medicine and health, carbon neutrality, digital economy, and regional innovation.
The expo isn’t just about showcasing tech—it’s about building connections. An investment and trade fair on the sidelines is bringing together hundreds of company representatives from across the globe to discuss and sign agreements in sectors like intelligent manufacturing and green energy.
“We hope to expand the international market in developed countries and East Asia through this expo,” said Hu Fang, an exhibitor at the event. “At the same time, this expo also helps us connect with many foreign companies and form cooperation opportunities.”
For the first time, the expo features an area dedicated to intellectual property services, aiming to provide more professional and market-oriented support to innovators.
“Through exhibitions, promotions, negotiations, and policy releases, we provide clear investment guidance for multinational companies, boost investor confidence, and build a regular platform for government-enterprise exchanges,” said An Yongjun, director of the International Exhibition Department at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council.
The expo reflects Beijing’s commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in the tech industry, offering a glimpse into the future of global technology advancements.
