As the 4th China–Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo approaches, North Macedonia is gearing up to strengthen its ties with China. The expo, set to take place from May 22 to 25 in Ningbo, east China’s Zhejiang Province, is a significant platform for fostering economic and cultural collaboration.
In an exclusive interview in Beijing, Ambassador of North Macedonia to China, Sashko Nasev, expressed his country’s eagerness to deepen cooperation with China. “We see great potential in working together on infrastructure projects, advancing green energy initiatives, and embracing electric vehicles,” Nasev told CGTN’s Cui Yingjie.
North Macedonia is sending high-level delegations to the expo, highlighting the importance it places on expanding trade opportunities. “This is a chance for us to showcase what North Macedonia has to offer and to explore new avenues for partnership,” the ambassador said.
The CEEC Expo serves as a bridge between China and Central and Eastern European countries, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration. For young people in both regions, this means more opportunities for cultural exchange, education, and innovation.
“We’re optimistic about the future of our relations with China,” Nasev added. “By working together, we can drive growth that benefits both our nations.”
