China has strongly condemned a tragic school bus attack in Pakistan that left five people dead, including three children, and injured over 30 others. The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Khuzdar district of Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province when terrorists targeted a school bus.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning expressed deep condolences to the victims during a daily news briefing in Beijing on Thursday. “China firmly opposes terrorism in all its forms,” she stated. “We extend our sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and the injured.”
Mao Ning reaffirmed China’s steadfast support for Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism, maintain social stability, and protect the lives and safety of its people. “China will continue to stand by Pakistan as it confronts these challenges,” she added.
Pakistan has faced ongoing security challenges, particularly in the Balochistan region, where separatist groups and extremist militants have carried out attacks targeting civilians and security forces. The international community has widely condemned these acts of violence.
