China’s Shijian-26 Satellite Soars into Space for Earth Observation

China has successfully launched the Shijian-26 satellite into space, marking another milestone in its growing space program. The satellite was carried by a Long March-4B rocket, which blasted off at 12:12 p.m. Beijing Time on Thursday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

The Shijian-26 satellite is designed for national land surveys, environmental management, and other critical applications. It will provide vital information services to support China’s economic development and environmental initiatives.

This mission marks the 579th flight of the Long March series carrier rockets, highlighting China’s ongoing advancements in space technology.
