China to Unveil Cutting-Edge Military Tech in Grand Parade

China is set to showcase its latest military advancements in a grand parade on September 3, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

According to a press conference held on Tuesday, the parade will not only feature traditional main battle forces but also introduce new-domain units equipped with cutting-edge technology. These include unmanned intelligence systems, underwater combat units, cyber and electronic forces, and hypersonic weapons.

Senior officer Wu Zeke of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission stated, "The parade will demonstrate the Chinese military’s strong ability to adapt to technological trends and evolving warfare, showcasing our readiness to prevail in future conflicts."

All the equipment on display is domestically produced and currently in service, highlighting China’s advancements in high-end technologies. The selection includes strategic strike forces, advanced tactical equipment, and new-type forces designed for future warfare scenarios.

Wu emphasized that the parade will offer a concentrated demonstration of the military’s comprehensive combat capabilities, including command and control, reconnaissance and early warning, air defense and anti-missile operations, firepower strikes, and comprehensive support.

In recent years, China’s armed forces have been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as new aircraft carriers, destroyers, stealth fighters, drones, and strategic missiles. These developments have significantly enhanced the country’s defense capabilities and boosted confidence in the military’s ability to secure future victories.
