U.S. Entrepreneur Calls for China-U.S. Green Collaboration at Summer Davos

The 2023 Summer Davos Forum convened in north China’s Tianjin Municipality from June 24 to 26 under the theme “Entrepreneurship for a New Era.” Focusing on key topics such as deciphering the world economy, the outlook on China, disrupted industries, investing in people and the planet, and new energy and materials, the event gathered global leaders to discuss pressing issues.

Drew Shula, an American entrepreneur and environmentalist, shared his insights during an interview about the forum’s discussions and China’s efforts in green and sustainable development. Shula emphasized the critical role that both China and the United States play in addressing environmental challenges.

“China and the U.S. are the world’s largest carbon emitters,” Shula noted. “Our coordinated actions in environmental protection are extremely important for global sustainability.” He called for increased collaboration between the two nations to push forward green initiatives and set a positive example for the rest of the world.

The forum highlighted the necessity of international cooperation in tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development. Participants stressed that joint efforts are essential to drive innovation in new energy and materials, ultimately benefiting people and the planet.

As the global community faces environmental challenges, voices like Shula’s underscore the importance of unity and shared responsibility. The Summer Davos Forum served as a platform to inspire action and foster partnerships aimed at building a greener future.
