Wu Yibing delivered a commanding victory over France’s Gael Monfils, winning in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. After both players held serve in their opening games, Wu broke Monfils in the sixth game, capitalizing on two consecutive double faults by the French veteran to take a 4-2 lead. Wu maintained his momentum, sealing the first set 6-3 as Monfils struggled with unforced errors.
