Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met with Majed Al Romaithi, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), in Beijing on Wednesday. The two leaders discussed enhancing economic cooperation between China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Vice Premier He highlighted China’s strong economic start to the year, emphasizing solid progress in high-quality development and increasing social confidence. He mentioned China’s ongoing efforts to deepen comprehensive reforms and promote high-level opening up in various sectors, including finance.
He Lifeng welcomed foreign financial institutions like ADIA to engage in business within China, inviting long-term investors to share in the country’s development opportunities.
