Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Cai Qi has emphasized the importance of tackling problems head-on in a nationwide education campaign aimed at improving work conduct.
Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made these remarks during a recent visit to Tangshan in north China’s Hebei Province.
During his tour, Cai Qi engaged with local communities, visiting townships, villages, and businesses. He urged that the education campaign should integrate study, inspection, and correction to make a real impact.
“We need targeted guidance for different regions and industries to ensure the campaign reaches deep and makes a difference,” Cai Qi said.
He highlighted the importance of aligning the campaign with local realities, especially at the grassroots level. Primary-level Party members and officials should focus on key tasks like rural revitalization and strengthening community governance.
For businesses, Cai Qi recommended that the campaign be closely linked with production and operations, ensuring progress on both fronts.
Emphasizing the need to involve the public in problem-solving, he called for immediate action to address issues as they arise, paying special attention to the most urgent matters.
The education campaign, launched in mid-March this year, is set to continue through late July 2025.
