Essam Sharaf, the former prime minister of Egypt, has voiced strong support for China’s Global Civilization Initiative (GCI) and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), highlighting their potential to foster global unity and development.
In a recent statement, Sharaf emphasized the significance of the GCI in promoting dialogue, trust, and mutual understanding among nations. He described the initiative as a transformative platform for building a more equitable and inclusive world order.

“By merging our historical wisdom with modern cooperation frameworks like the BRI, Egypt and China can make substantial contributions to global development and human progress,” he stated.
Addressing youth worldwide, Sharaf shared an empowering message: “If young people respect and absorb others and accept diversity, our world will definitely be better.”
