Over 350 attendees from Bangladesh and China gathered in Dhaka on Sunday for the China-Bangladesh Readers Forum on ‘Xi Jinping: The Governance of China’. The event brought together individuals from political, academic, business, and media circles to deepen the exchange of governance experiences between the two nations.
Chinese representatives presented Bangladeshi counterparts with copies of the book, marking a significant step forward in bilateral relations. Yao Wen, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, emphasized the importance of the Bengali edition, stating it will serve as a “window of thought” for Bangladeshi readers to gain deeper insight into today’s China.
The forum highlighted the growing ties between Bangladesh and China, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation. Participants engaged in discussions about governance, development, and the potential for future collaborations.
